Without having my cell number or any connection with me for over a year, P was quick to go with a hunch that it was me. And, frankly, I was taken aback by this. From that moment on, I knew this was something special and I wasn’t ready to let it go. So, our journey of late night SMS-ing began. Sharing almost everything with each other all through the days and nights turned into a bond that ran deeper and before we knew it, this connection turned into more than just friends. I still remember in the wee hours of the morning on August 21, 2010, P officially asked me to be his girlfriend and well, I was elated. My first love and I was over the moon. And mind you, we had not met even once till September that year. But once we did, we were inseparable from that point on.

But, the journey wasn’t without any bumps and bruises. A short breakup around my birthday in November 2010, a guilt trip on P’s part in March 2011 and MS Dhoni and his squad sealing our deal again on April 2, 2011 by lifting the ICC World Cup trophy after 28 years, really made us believe that we were meant to be. And, after that, there was no looking back.

We discovered that we both adored were sitting and talking for hours, exploring new food places, had a common love for travel, for old Hindi film music, admiration for well-dressed folks and a whole lot more. While we were quite the opposite on a lot of fronts, these remained similar throughout and even now, continue to keep us hooked. And, after dating for 7 years, we finally tied the knot on October 5, 2017. And that’s how Pr+Inkle= Prinkle was born!
