Pomodoro Cafe & Lounge: Cute By The Day, Happening By The Night, Cool All Time!
Picture this: On a hot summer afternoon, you walk into a pretty cafe with a beautifully decorated ceiling interspersed with leaves and starlights. You find a cosy and comfy corner and seat yourself down only to be distracted by the chicness of this quaint eatery you stumbled upon so unexpectedly. Feels delightful right? This is exactly how we felt when we walked into Pomodoro Cafe & Lounge In Mohali.
With a gorgeous ambience for the cafe and an eclectic vibe for the lounge, this restaurant in Mohali certainly offers the best of both worlds. We nestled on a comfy floral couch in the cafe and began admiring the ambience. From stylish mirrors to relatable quotes on the wall, the chic vibe of the cafe is impressive. The neon lights with a pointer towards the lounge in the basement came with a quote about dancing that all party animals would love. The funny thing is, we were so lost in admiring the gorgeousness of this cafe that the server had to remind us to check out the menu in front of us!
Savour Irresistible Delights and Refreshing Beverages
When we began exploring the menu of Pomodoro Cafe, we realised that they had every popular dish that we’d love to explore in different cuisines. From Chinese, Indian, and Italian to Continental delights, each dish on the menu left us salivating. Not just food, they had a lot of options in drinks as well. Smoothies, Lemonades, Coffee and Mocktails, you name it and they had it. They even had a few real GOLD signature treats- Gold Cappuccino, Gold Burger Lover & Gold Chicken Drumsticks. Oh, and we’re not kidding!

But, we weren’t in the mood for Gold and hence, stuck to our favourites. After a lot of deliberation, we decided to go for Chicken Tikka Sandwich, Veg Fried Rice and Chilli Chicken Gravy. To complement our meal, we couldn’t resist ordering refreshing Mojitos.
And, the service staff seemed to be quite alert and attentive as our order arrived in the next 15 minutes. The Sandwich arrived first, artfully presented with a side of crispy fries along with the Mojitos. And, after another 10 minutes, we were served piping hot bowls of Fried rice and Chilli Chicken. We began with the sandwich and let me tell you, it was truly unique. Layered perfectly with succulent and spicy chicken tikka, onions and cucumber, the flavours certainly surprised us.
Next up, we dug into Fried Rice and Chilli Chicken. The aroma alone had us salivating and when we tasted them together, we were impressed. The chef nailed the Chinese flavours as each forkful had a delicate balance of spices and a satisfying texture. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, especially the chilli chicken that instantly ignited a fiery sensation in our taste buds.
With our bellies full and hearts content, we couldn’t help but ponder over how surprisingly good the last 2 hours went by at Pomodoro Cafe & Lounge. The unexpected visit turned out to be quite an amazing culinary adventure that we’ll never forget. We’ve already bookmarked this place in our list of favourite cafes for a casual date and we’d recommend you do it too!

They recently got into hype with their Gold Cappuccino. Did you try the same? How is it? What’s the price and is it worth it ?
Hello 🙂
We didn’t try the Gold Cappuccino but going by the looks of it, we’ve put it on our bucket list for next time along with the other items in the signature gold menu including Drumsticks. The pricing for the gold cappuccino is around INR 750. But they also we’re running an offer where they offered the same at INR 350. If you do try it out before us, let us know your experience!
