7 OTT Shows After 7 Years of Marriage: Our Secret to Perfect Binge-Watch Harmony!

OTT Shows For Couples

P & I aren’t your typical couple—we’re different in more ways than one. He loves to play; I love to chill. He’s all about socialising, while I sometimes dream of running away from people (don’t we all?). So, finding OTT shows to watch together? A nightmare.

But after 7.5 years of marriage, Prinkled has cracked the code! We’ve found 7 OTT shows that we can rewatch anytime, anywhere—without ever getting bored. And now, we’re letting you in on our secret (not-so-secret) list! Let’s go!

1. Suits

Is there anyone in the world not captivated by the charm, wit, and undeniable riz of Harvey Specter? We think not. What started as a random watch for P & me turned into a show we can’t help but rewatch—again and again and again! From Gabriel Macht’s enigmatic portrayal of Harvey and Patrick J. Adams’ brilliant act as Mike Ross to Meghan Markle’s understated role as Rachel, everything about this 9-season legal drama on Netflix and JioHotstar is pure binge gold. And don’t even get me started on Sarah Rafferty’s powerhouse performance as Donna—pheww—total show-stealer!

But the moments we keep going back to? The unshakable camaraderie and brotherhood between Mike and Harvey. Don’t we all wish we had someone like that in our professional and personal lives? So, if you and your beau are hunting for the perfect binge-watch OTT show, Suits is an absolute no-brainer!

2. The Newsroom

A star news anchor with a giant ego. A foolhardy mission to civilize him, concocted by the head of the news division and an out-of-work news producer. The result? A superbly entertaining show.

If you haven’t guessed already, we’re talking about The Newsroom on JioHotstar. Will McAvoy is a prime-time news anchor who dominates the ratings by delivering the news people want to hear. And boy, is he arrogant about it. But Charlie Skinner, the head of the news division, has other plans—he wants Will to report the real news, the kind that changes governments.

To shake things up, Charlie brings in MacKenzie McHale—Will’s ex-fiancée, the one who cheated on him, and, conveniently, a news producer in need of a job. She takes up Charlie’s offer, determined to remind Will why he got into journalism in the first place. What follows is an absolute rollercoaster—three seasons packed with camaraderie, banter, heated arguments, dramatic yelling, and plenty of Don Quixote references.

In every fiery debate between Will and Mac, you’ll probably see a reflection of yourself and your beau. Trust me, we did! The Newsroom isn’t just a banger of a OTT show—it’s a reminder of the critical role the media plays in shaping nations.

3. The Blacklist

Alright, this one might be an acquired taste—like fine wine. But once you’re hooked, there’s no turning back until you uncover the mystery of who Raymond Reddington, the concierge of crime and the FBI’s most wanted fugitive, really is to Elizabeth Keen—a fresh Quantico graduate stepping into her role as a profiler with the bureau.

The show wastes no time and throws you straight into its gripping premise: on the very day Keen joins the FBI, Reddington surrenders himself—under one condition. He will only speak to her. As the episodes unfold, Reddington holds up his end of the deal, helping the FBI track down criminals from his infamous Blacklist. But at the same time, he keeps Keen (and the audience) constantly questioning—what exactly is their connection?

Up until Season 8, this OTT show remains impeccably gritty, keeping you on the edge of your seat. Even though P & I are still debating who Raymond Reddington really was, we love revisiting the show—thanks to the enigmatic, electric bond between Ray and Keen.

If you enjoy unraveling a mystery slowly and steadily, The Blacklist is an absolute must-watch!

4. Grey’s Anatomy

Okay, I really had to convince P to sit through this one. But once he did? He watched it all the way through.

A medical drama that doubles as an emotional rollercoaster? Bring it on! Grey’s Anatomy—one of the longest-running shows ever—follows Meredith Grey, the daughter of a legendary surgeon, and a group of interns at Seattle Grace Hospital, all striving to become top-tier doctors. But along the way, life happens. From steamy affairs with attendings and drama with exes to professional blunders and tragic losses, their journeys are anything but smooth.

The original cast—Ellen Pompeo as Meredith, Patrick Dempsey as Derek, Sandra Oh as Cristina, Katherine Heigl as Izzie, Justin Chambers as Alex, TR Knight as George, Chandra Wilson as Miranda Bailey, James Pickens Jr. as Chief Webber, and Isaiah Washington as Dr Burke—each have their own gripping arcs that keep you hooked. While the show initially focuses on Meredith, Derek, and Cristina, later additions like Arizona Robbins, Mark Sloan, Lexie Grey, and Addison Montgomery inject fresh drama and new life into the series.

Shonda Rhimes truly struck gold with Grey’s Anatomy—but only until Season 12. That’s when the heartbreak and plot twists start feeling a little too much, making you question the show’s direction.

So, our verdict? Watch Grey’s Anatomy up to Season 12—we promise it’s worth it. After that? Well, proceed at your own risk!

5. White Collar

Classy, comforting and lots of pizazz, White Collar has been our go-to show whenever we want to add some fun with a hint of seriousness in our lives.

It follows Neal Caffrey, a criminal mastermind with a soft spot for art forgeries and designer suits, who ends up striking a deal with the FBI. Instead of rotting in prison, he helps Agent Peter Burke solve white-collar crimes. But of course, nothing’s ever that simple—Neal’s always walking the tightrope between doing good and falling back into old habits.

Between Matt Bomer’s cheeky charm and Tim DeKay’s stern-but-sweet vibes, the bromance is unmatched. P loves the clever cons; I swoon every time Neal smirks. Fair trade. Plus, it’s got the perfect balance of plot twists, emotional beats, and heists you’ll never see coming.

This one’s a hidden gem on JioHotstar that you’ll keep returning to—especially when you’re in the mood for crime-solving with style.

6. The Mentalist

A fraud psychic, a heart-breaking tragedy, and a mission to hunt down a killer—say no more!

All of this makes The Mentalist an intriguing watch. Patrick Jane, a mind reader of sorts, joins the California Bureau of Investigation as a consultant in crime-solving after a devastating personal loss. His goal isn’t just to help put bad people behind bars—he’s on a mission to find Red John, the man who destroyed his life. While his intense search for Red John adds edge-of-your-seat thrills, it’s his banter with Teresa Lisbon that truly keeps you hooked. Add to that a fun CBI team, and you’ve got yourself a winner.

Simon Baker delivers every line with a twinkle in his eye and just the right amount of sass, while Robin Tunney’s grounded, no-nonsense Lisbon keeps things from going off the rails.

This one’s become our go-to “night show”—the kind you curl up with when you want crime-solving that’s clever but never too heavy. And the payoff when the Red John mystery wraps up? So worth it.

7. Lucifer

Okay, we’ll admit—this one surprised us. Who knew the Devil could be this charming?

Lucifer brings the Prince of Hell to Earth, where he runs a swanky LA nightclub and helps the LAPD solve crimes (because why not?). But it’s not all jokes and wings—there’s soul-searching, heartbreak, redemption arcs, and existential angst tucked between the one-liners and steamy stares.

Tom Ellis owns this role—devilish, dramatic, and deeply vulnerable all at once. And the slow-burn love story between Lucifer and detective Chloe Decker? Chef’s kiss. I was hooked by the noir-meets-fantasy vibe; P stayed for the celestial family drama and Ella’s science geek energy.

It’s quirky, unexpected, and weirdly heartwarming—kind of like us.

Prinkled’s Final Thoughts:

So there you have it—our secret seven! Shows that P & I turn to when the world gets too loud, the dinner’s too boring, or we just need to hit pause on life and play on something that feels like home.

If your couple-vibe is anything like ours—a little chaotic, a little cuddly, and a lot opinionated—this list might just be your new BFF. Try a few. Or all. And if you land on one that becomes your go-to, tell us. We’re always up for one more rewatch!
