Lo and behold Prinkled fam! We’re back after a short hiatus, and this time we come bearing phenomenal news for foodies in Chandigarh. P and I recently discovered the newest cafe in Chandigarh that opened its doors just a few days ago. It hails all the way from Delhi, and well, many of you might have been there and loved it too. It’s none other than Cafeteria & Co, and it’s now open in Elante Mall, Chandigarh!
Unexpectedly, on a Monday night, P and I decided to give this new cafe a shot. Well, it turned out to be the best decision ever, if I can say so. And today, I’m here to brag all about it. So, belly up, fam! Here’s all the dope about this newest cafe in town, Cafeteria & Co Chandigarh!

And if any of you are like me, then the vibe or the ambience of the cafe certainly plays an important role in lifting the mood of an entire gang of friends. So obviously, when we headed to Cafeteria & Co Chandigarh, my focus was on what their vibe is like.

A gorgeously chic setup with grey walls, beautiful yellow lighting, and white wooden designs all over welcome you as you set foot in this new cafe in Chandigarh. Aesthetically designed corners for privacy certainly guarantee a good time and even better photos for the gram.

And that stunningly decked-up bar sits right at the heart of this place, commanding all the attention, and rightly so. With neon lights adding the pop culture element to the chic decor, the vibe of Cafeteria & Co certainly hits home. I, for one, was truly excited. And I couldn’t wait to see what was in store for us in the food department!

Being hardcore foodies at heart, as much as we may love the vibe, the litmus test always is the food being served to us and everyone else. At Cafeteria & Co Chandigarh too, that was on our minds. As we found a perfect spot to sit, our server brought us the menu, and we began exploring it.
Their variety of dishes certainly left a strong impression on us. From Sushi, Tacos, and Noodles to Pizza, Pasta, and more, they had every cuisine that one may like to indulge in when out. They seemed to be going for the fusion vibe for their treats, and so far, it was impressive. Even in beverages, while they are yet to get their liquor license, the variety of non-alcoholic drinks they were serving was pretty good. And what really impressed us was the fact that it was pocket-friendly too. No dish on their menu touched INR 500, and that itself is a big win, we felt!
We ordered Paneer Tikka Spring Rolls, Chicago-style Peri Peri & Cheese Fries, and Lamb Galouti Kebab for snacks. I was trying to pick a drink for myself when our server suggested I try their Ginger Berry Mint Julep from their mocktails, and I went with it.

While our meal was being readied, we clicked a lot of pictures for the gram, and we were enjoying a fun date night, vibing away to the music. In about 15 minutes, our order was served. And, boy oh boy, they looked absolutely divine. Full points for presentation for all the appetizers. Now came the tasting part, and well, there too, they passed with flying colours.
Source: PrinkledThe Paneer Tikka Rolls were crispy on the outside and succulent on the inside with a delicious filling bursting with flavours. They were served with a cheesy and spicy sweet chilli dip. We loved it. The fries were packed with spicy flavours, just like Peri Peri fries are supposed to be, and came with a cheesy dip too. But the star was the Lamb Galouti. Served with triangle-shaped Ulta-Tawa Paratha, Green Chutney, and Spicy Onions, it was DELICIOUS. It transported our taste buds to Purani Dilli’s kebab shops where you get the most authentic taste of these Galouti Kebabs. A big win for Cafeteria & Co Chandigarh!

Source: PrinkledFor the main course, we ordered Bhuna Chicken Biryani, which took about 20 minutes to be served, and well, it tasted even better than what we had imagined. Aromatic, spicy, and packed with flavour, their Biryani was filling, wholesome, and tasty. It was served with onion rings, green chutney, and delicious raita. We thoroughly enjoyed it and everything that was served to us on our date night.
It seems like Cafeteria & Co has come to Chandigarh with an aim to serve, please, and win hearts, and we’re certainly rooting for them!
