Let’s just accept one well-established fact: we all have our little tea rituals. Between P and me, I’m the tea person; the one who treats tea time as sacred. Pair that tea with some delicious nibbles, and voilà, I’m instantly in a good mood. So naturally, when I spotted Burma Burma Chandigarh, my favourite tea room and Burmese restaurant, at Elante Mall, I was on cloud nine.
While P couldn’t quite understand why I was so excited, I was instantly transported back to the first time I tried Burma Burma in Delhi. The memory of its traditional yet contemporary ambience, one that sweeps you away to the rich cultural landscape of Burma, flashed vividly before my eyes. Oh, and the inviting aroma of freshly brewed Royal Myanmar Cha and the unforgettable, wholesome “Oh No Khowsuey” still feel so fresh in my mind.

Now that Burma Burma Chandigarh is open at Elante Mall, I can’t wait to relive the magic of Burmese cuisine, rooted in tradition yet reimagined with a contemporary flair.
