There’s something about cafes and coffee shops that has P and me always excited. While initially, I wasn’t a coffee lover, being married to one rubs off on you. And, before I knew it, I began enjoying coffee too. Now, we often scout for good coffee places wherever we go and this one time, we discovered a cosy cafe in Chandigarh that eventually became our favourite. This cute cafe in Chandigarh serves the best brews at Sector 35C and is none other than Blue Tokai Coffee Roasters!
So, without any lengthy hold-up, I’ll get right to it and share how this cosy cafe won us over with its brews, food and warmth!
Blue Tokai Coffee Roasters Chandigarh: Cosy Cafe Serving Brews For Coffee Lovers!
Let me just put it out there. The ambience of a cafe or coffee place plays a very important role in bringing people in. When we first visited Blue Tokai Coffee Roasters Chandigarh in Sector 35C, the first thing we loved was minimalism. The clean, spacious and beautifully lit up cafe looked so inviting on a Sunday afternoon that we just had to step inside and check it out. When a cafe like that beckons you, you certainly listen.
When we stepped inside this spacious cafe, we couldn’t help but admire how they kept it minimalist yet chic. Light wooden tables interspersed with hues of blue and grey are pleasing to the eyes. We grabbed a spot close to the billing counter and well, it gave us a complete view of the entire cafe. While we soaked in the calm vibes of this cafe on a Sunday afternoon, a server came to our table and placed the menus with a smile.

While I began sifting through the pages of the menu, P took some shots of the cafe before people poured in. I loved how they had clearly highlighted the difference between Black and White Coffee and explained that if anyone needed a little milk with the former ones, the baristas could help. While I was making up my mind about what coffee I wanted to have, the baristas were brewing a cuppa for another couple and the aroma that engulfed the area near the billing counter blew my mind.
I knew at that moment that their coffee will be good. But, I wasn’t sure about the food. But, boy oh boy, what a surprise it turned out to be!
Aromatic Brews, Scrumptious Food!
Having smelled the aroma of a fresh brew, I couldn’t wait to sip on Blue Tokai Coffee Roasters Chandigarh’s coffee. So, without any qualms, I went ahead and ordered a Vietnamese Style Iced Coffee for myself and a Trioccino for P. Along with it, we ordered a Super Veggie And Marinara Pizza, Smoked Chicken Sandwich and Signature Blue Tokai Coffee Pancakes. While we waited, P and I talked about our plans for the rest of the day. In the next 15 minutes, we were served our Coffee, Sandwich and Pancakes. The Pizza came in after another 10 minutes.
The Coffees, both of them, were aromatic. The layered Vietnamese Style Coffee looked beautiful and it was almost therapeutic to watch the two colours come together. The Trioccino looked so luscious. The food, to my surprise, was beautifully plated. It was so pleasing to the eyes that we couldn’t help but click dozens of pictures of it. The cutest presentation of them all was of the sandwich. Served with chips and a dip, the heart-shaped sandwich made me go, ‘aww’, the moment the server put it down at our table. The Pizza looked fresh and inviting. And, the pancakes, were topped up with so many nuts and chocolate sauce that we couldn’t wait to dig in.
One bite of the Smoked Chicken Sandwich is all it took for me to be convinced that Blue Tokai Coffee Roasters Chandigarh had nailed their food too. It was crunchy, succulent and oozing with flavour. The chicken was soft and juicy and the bread was perfectly toasted. Coming to the Pizza, it was gooey, soft and cheesy to say the least. Packed with flavour, the seasoned veggies added a little bit of crunch to it and elevated it to another level. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Both the sandwich and Pizza went very well with the aromatic and delicious coffee.
We ended things on a sweet note with the Blue Tokai Coffee Pancakes. They were delicious, fluffy and mouth-watering. The nuts brought in the crunch while the chocolate and coffee were such a warm and familiar riot of flavours in the mouth. We enjoyed the fluffy pancakes along with the rest of the treats. And, by the end of it, we were convinced that Blue Tokai Coffee Roasters should be our new hangout point!
Prinkled’s Parting Thoughts:
The baristas at Blue Tokai Coffee Roasters Chandigarh (sector 35C) are too sweet and friendly. You can tell them how you like your coffee and they’ll try to make it that way for you. We highly recommend their coffee. Their brews are certainly among the best we’ve had in Chandigarh!
