Well, if you’re like Prinkled, you certainly will get the hint and get with the program as we’re talking about Indian Matchmaking 3.
The Netflix show is back with iconic Sima Taparia for a third time and well, this time it has thrice the amount of meme material. For those who don’t know much about Indian Matchmaking, let us tell you in a short summary what it is all about.
Indian Matchmaking is Netflix’s attempt to showcase how matchmaking in an arranged Indian setup works. Sima Taparia is a famous matchmaker from Mumbai who travels across the world for her clients and tries her best to get their ‘stars aligned’ with each other. But, while doing so, Sima from Mumbai ends up providing epic meme material to fans of the show and well, rightly so.
While the third season has quite a few new additions, a couple of prospective brides and grooms are from the last season as well. But, each of them has a huge bucket list of qualities they want in their partner and Sima aunty is supposed to ensure that each is ticked. However, Sima aunty, in her signature statement, advises each of her prospective bride and groom that milega toh sirf 60-70% match and baki toh ‘compromise, adjust and manage’. And her signature style is what has captured the fancy of memers on social media!

Let’s all just all agree that Indian Matchmaking and Sima Taparia in it are nothing but cringe. They remind us of some of things that no longer hold much meaning in the current generation’s lives. However, does that mean we’ll stop watching the show? Hell no!
